2 Door Stretch Help
So I'm looking at different kits right now and getting quotes from dealers. Trying to see if anyone has more information about each kit as there is not a whole lot out there regarding them. If anyone has any experience with either of these kits I would greatly appreciate your feedback. Im getting this stuff ordered here soon to have the rig done before Trail Hero Oct 4-7th.
RK 6inch Rear Stretch
-Rear 3 link
-Crawler Conceptz 6inch stretch corners
-Poison Spyder LED Brake Light and Reverse Light Kit
-Rear antirock swaybar with shortened arms
-Ill be able to keep my current coil setup
Synergy 8inch Rear Stretch
-Factory 5 link
-Crawler Conceptz 8inch stretch corners (if they're truly available, still finding out)
-Poison Spyder LED Brake Light and Reverse Light Kit
-Rear antirock swayer with shortened arms
-Get stock rear coils and keep my 2.5 inch RK coils up front, this should keep it level or very close
Shocks will be determined once we get ride height figured out with the coil setup. Would love to run my current 2.5 internal bypasses but will sell if I can't. Obviously drive shaft will be lengthened during the process, brake lines, and other minor stuff as well.

Dont mess with kits, find a shop that knows what it is doing and go custom. Short arms on an Anti-rock means stiffer performance and may limit your travel. Install the sway bar in front of the axle and use as arms as long as you can. Run the brake lines and sensor wires down the upper rear link and hard line it across the axle to the calipers. You should be able to run a driveshaft without the double Cardan joint if you do a good custom set up with proper geometry. You want the frame side upper and lower mounts to be as close to the output of the transfer case as possible. If you are thinking you want to keep the factory fuel tank, don't, get over it and run a fuel cell. They are not that big a deal and the performance of a double triangulated 4 link will be worth it. If you can't find a shop to do a custom job bring it here and I will do it. I would suggest finding a metal supplier and just have a piece of 3/16" aluminum bent for the corners this will save weight and allow you to custom cut the opening.
As far as the two kits you have listed the synergy has longer arms for better geometry and pinion control. It would be better if they were about 6" longer but that is what they are. The kit is designed for the factory axle brackets which really should be relocated to better locations for clearance and geometry.
The RK kits arms are simply too short and the geometry of the kit is pretty poor with limits in up travel and if I remember correctly you like to go fast so your shocks are going to need the up travel to work properly without lifting to the sky. Your time frame is going to be tough to do unless you can find a shop that has no business which would concern me as most shops that know what they are doing are months out just to start a project like this.

Unfortunately I don't have the time nor money to go full custom double triangulated 4 link, fuel cell, and etc on this rig nor am I going to dump that kind of money into this anymore as I'll be buying a turn key buggy in the future. I'm trying to finish what I started and get my Jeep to a good overall point and leave it be. I've crushed my rear corners and I have no option but to get new ones which is why I'm considering a kit to stretch it anyways vs leaving it like it is.

This guy has a 7" RK stretch. 3 link i believe or 4 with track bar... anyway. I'm doing a stretch on my 2 door as well, the jeep below belongs to a guy i talk to on instagram "justanotherstretchedjk" and he sad he called River City Offroad... as the windshield says... and they set him up with everything he needs. I think the guy at River City Offroads name is Marcus, if i remember correctly. But i looked at several pics of his build and it doesn't seem to awful bad of an install. Good Luck
He replied to one of my threads about gears... i doubt he would be upset about me posting his info, here ya go

I hear you man. I will keep everyone updated as to what I end up doing. I hate to get away from the JK scene as this rig has amazed me thus far but need to get it to a point I'm comfortable with before I'm done with it.
