So I sold my last Wrangler in June of 2016 along with my F150 and bought a VW Passatt. We were moving from Charleston SC to Gray GA in October and the family was staying until school was out in June. So, I put 30k miles on that Passatt in 8 months. We are now settled and it was time for the Passatt to go. My new Jeep was delivered this morning to the house. Very happy to be back in a Jeep. first non-rubi in a long time, but my rock crawling days are over so I don't think I need lockers and 37"s this time around. Always wanted one of the sand colors and got a great deal on this Gobi Sport. Will update as it changes, those of you that know me know it won't stay this way long.

 

Labor day sale at Northridge got me for about $4500. Now I remember the downside of owning a Jeep. Just Empty Every Pocket. Oh well, it will be fun

Georgia tax laws make it very difficult to flip jeeps and make money so I plan on sticking in this one for a little while. Hopefully...

 

Wheels came in yesterday. Really liking these. they give a tan/sandy appearance in the sunlight and should look good on a gobi.

 

Parts have been accumulated and will be getting down to business soon. First up, rear bumper.
