Default How do you instal a lift?

i'm going to get a lift, most likely a 2.5" BB with shocks or shock adapters. i might go through our local off road place or i might just buy a lift and me do it. how would i go about installing a lift kit on my 2dr JK?

there are several install guides on the projectjk link... your best bet is to search around for the lift you want on the site and start reading what people are saying about that lift and possible issues i.e there was a bracket that everyone was waiting on for the 2.5 bb tf kit... by reading i got a better idea of what to expect when installing the kit and what to look for in that kit.

most people have done the lift themselves with basic tools and the peace of mind that it was not messed up by a shop.

I vote Teraflex. Far and away the best of the 3 if you ask me.
