had my jeep for almost 2 yrs and just now checked the difference between what the electronic meter says and what i pump at the gas station
the meter said i was getting 21 mpg and checking gallons pumped and odometer milage said i was getting 19mpg
for those who might ask why i didn't do this sooner, this is my 4th jeep and i know you don't buy them for the gas milage

 

I am calibrated dead on for tire sizing. Used to calculate fuel economy regularly and noticed my computer was always at least .5 mpg higher than actual. I'd seen mine off by as much as 2 mpg before in the past. My fuel economy is so bad now.....I gave up even paying attention to it. Depressing, but it's become more of a part time vehicle/toy, so it just is what it is. I'd kill for 19mpg.
