Well, I dropped her off this morning to get superior 5.13 gears installed. I've heard such good things about getting re-geared that I can hardly wait to jump in and give it a little gas, especially in the hills. Thank you tax return!!!

I had mine done last week. You will love the added power.

 

I will tonight. I took it to 4west in colton because they are right down the road from where I work and I received a good referral about the work they do.

 

Looking forward to it. Tired of flooring it up hills just to keep it at 60 or so.

If you don't mind me asking, what did they charge per axle. I ordered my from Northridge4X4 and they should be here any day. I just need a good "reliable" installer.

(And please no one say use ORE, They don't return phone calls. Tried several times for the last 3 weeks 2 if you count they were gone for a week for Moab. So yes, Already tried to talk to them about an install, they must not need the business right now.)

(Offroad Evolution will not return my phone calls called 5 times(More if you count the times I got the Answering machine), talk to Lisa 3, She forgot to call me back didnt even get a price on the install till 4 days later and my persistance. Then my wife made me rethink, due to price, so called again to get a new price minus the ARB lockers and talked to Mel. He said he would call me back with the total price on the new install, Still, No return call on the new price and a date to install. Was going to give a deposit when Mel called me back, but its been 4 days, Not one call back. So I called and talked to steve, Mel was out would be back later, left message for him to call me. Mel still has not called. I was trying to set a date for Tues. But nothing. I know I am Evil, but you would think good customer service would still be one thing to call you back. I am now rethinking using them. Maybe they are too busy and dont need any more business or everyone on this site are friends and keep recommending them. It is the same people making all the recommendations. Am I the only one they won't call back........I mean I was willing to drive 90 miles to ORE, but now.... Anyone else have this problem?)

 

So the gears are installed and so far I love the extra speed on the freeway. I've only driven it a little so I don't have much to say, yet. I'm going to be heading to the hills to see what the difference is there and I'll report back then.
