Default Good buy or lemon?

I've always been looking at jeeps since I was in high school and loved them, but were always north of 20k for all the options i wanted with reasonable mileage. Anyone have opinions on this one or good questions to ask before buying? Over 50k miles $15k for a 2012 Sahara JK

Look at this 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sahara for $15,000: https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/723684090/overview/?aff=share_text

Not sure why lemon would be a consideration with this...

Looks nice with lots of options. With any used vehicle purchase, my first concerns are always with add-ons and mods. That one repeatedly references "professionally upgraded" parts and such, but I would still be going over them with a fine toothed comb to identify any possible concerns with parts or install quality.

Assuming it's been taken care of--and it looks like it has been, at least from the limited pictures there--it should have many more years of use at ~53k miles. Go check it out, give it a test ride, and do your due diligence just like any other used vehicle purchase. And let us know how it goes!

2012 is the year of motor problems. So, unless you can get the recall info on the Jeep, aka recalls for the cylinder heads, stay away from it.
