Any Ca. V8 swaps? Would love to talk to you about the conversion before I pull the trigger.

Yes I have...looking for his customers in Ca or anyone that has done a swap just to talk before I make up my mind.

 

I'm not in CA, but I have one of his swaps in my rig (2011). Outstanding job, runs like a top, looks factory. His customer service is the best I've ever had.

FWIW, the 5.38 gears you're running may be a bit too steep with the V8 and I assume a 6L80 or 8L90 install... I'm running the same tires as you with 4.88 gears and it's got lots of pull.

 

yeah we already talked about doing a 6.2L and 6L80, I would need to change my gear ratio to 4.56....my only concern is this Ca smog crap....that's whats holding me back right now
