To the best of my knowledge, they all have 44s in the rear.

the first run or two of 07 JKs that were on the lots in 06 had the D35. i think build dates after Nov 06 had switched over to the D44 rear. 07 models hit the show rooms around Aug of 06.

RebelMudHound has a D35 in his 07 JK and the spider gears shreaded this past weekend at Long's

Thanks for the reply my jk was builded before nov 07. I am sure the Rear axel is a Dana 35. The bolt pattern is oval not like the D44.I heard that the best can i do is swap for a D44. My question is did i have to change Driveshaft,Brake Disc, calipers.

I believe If you use the mopar axle its a direct drop in,, The calipers are the same and I think the new axle comes with rotors? For the $ its a good deal,, $1400? I'd switch out shafts to the better shafts while your in there tho.. I'm waiting on paperwork to get my 08(had an 07 2dr) and I'm thinking about doing the front 44 swap with a gear change to 4.88's.
If your swapin axles you could always do a pair,, regear and step up tire size while your at it..

Its so easy to spend other peoples money!
