I took my JK out for a run at Mojave Desert last week and took my set of EAG Matrix Tube Doors with Mirrors. Today, i will do a basic write up on the quick and easy install of the doors.

Here is what you will get out of the box:
-2 front doors
-2 rear doors
-16 #5 Allen Head Bolts
-16 13mm nuts
-16 lock washers



Tools used for the install where:
-ratchet
-t50 torx socket
-allen wrench set
-13mm wrench



Installing Tubular Door Hardware
Before removing your door, you first need to install the door hinges on the tube doors. To do so locate 2 down position hinges, line them up to the holes in the hinge with the holes on the tubular door. Using a $5 allen head wrench install 4 mounting bolts, friction washers and nuts. Then using the bolts, nuts and washers install the mirrors, and door stopper.







Removal of Factory Front Doors
To remove your factory front doors, use the T50 torx socket to remove the 2 bolts attached to the bottom of the hinges on the front doors. Inside the door by the kick panel area unclip the wiring harness that is attached to the door. Lift off the door stopper and life the door off the hinges and set aside.









Installing New Doors
To install your new doors, lower the door onto the factory hinges on the Jeep. Using the OEM torx bolts from removal process, bolt the door onto the hinges. Attach the new door stopper provided on the new door, and repeat for the other side. This completes the installation process.
