I have a Spiderweb shade, and have had a DirtyDog4x4 shade in the past. I haven't done what you're trying, but I have, out of laziness, tried to install hard top over the web shades. It's more effort than it's worth. Main problem is the webshades hooking to the footman loops up at the windshield. Straps and bungies get in the way of the clamps on the driver and passneger sides.....although you might be able to force them to the side to work. The middle footman clamp is harder, so you are forced to unhook the shade from there (in my experience). Then, you really need to clamp the back of the freedom panels together which means reaching in between the shade and the panel to get back there. You may want to use the screws to hold the back of the panels on at the crossmember. It's a lot of effort for an unattractive look to me, but sure you have your reasons. Where there's a will, there's a way.....
