Default Evap canister relocate or skid

Going to redrill and move the evap canister over one hole to get it away from the driveshaft tonight but have been looking at an aftermarket skid for it. I like the JCR skid but can't tell if it offers more clearance than stock. When mounted do the aftermarket skids come as close as the stock jeep 'skid'? (i.e. rip the boot close)

The skid row is a nice skid but it's definitely closer to the shaft and sticks down more than where the stock canister did. It "looks" like the 11+ sit closer to the shaft than the early years. I've not contacted the shaft.....yet. The skid is solid though if you decide to try it out.

Relocating it removes the possibility of ever getting hung up on it.

I did the skid first then ended up relocating it. Save the time and money and just relocate it and be done with it.

Relocate, the less weight you add to the jeep the better.

Relocating is easy- just make sure you have the white part in the right orientation or you will get a CEL
