what do you guys think in how this package stacks up to the big boys D60 packages?! Very nice especially with the king pin setup!

What's the 'big boys D60 packages' referring to? The 60/80 combo? Yeah it's nice for sure, but too many bones for me.

I found a 05+ D60 front for $500 near me. Considering picking it up and pairing it with one of the many available 14 bolts as a wonton project. Or going deep and having a 14 bolt re-tubed/machined to be a front axle....then running 14b F/R heheh. Either way, I'm going to burn the trusses on myself and have the guts (gears, seals, lockers) done by a shop after. Long term project, so I don't burn a $10k hole in my pocket in 1 step

Anyways, yeah...beefy axles. If you can swing it, pull the trigger.

OP , precisely what I did . Dan turned them around quick , much faster than I had expected .
Beyond that with the included steering the cost narrowed to a point that it was so close with the competition that the scales weighted to the Fusion Axle .
They really produce a better product in my opinion , with options that the others just don't offer readily .

ti be honest, this king pin setup looks pretty good and the price point is right in line with them. I’m thinking the lead find will be a little shorter and Dan has shot me straight the whole time I’ve talked with him. Good info on scrub radius and info around their design.

Leaning towards fusion myself.

I would not hesitate with Fusion, nice stuff. This package should be good for most people out there.

When you do get them you will be pleasantly surprised , workmanship , welds , added components are first class .
Side by side with UD-60 was an eye opener .
One other plus was there are more options such as gear ratios ,lockers , among other items that can be had verses the other MFG's that are just a little more limited .
And just KP's , and all that with a lot of thought into scrub ratios , total effort IMHO .
Couldn't be happier .

It sounds like @ 72” and a relatively low BS wheel, this thing will be crazy wide but the same as the XD60 width. 3.5” BS with a set of slabs is likely out of the question and need something @ 4” BS or under.

lookikg at raceline pretty hard right now.

I run 72" WMS and 4.5" bs wheels with 40" MTR's I am at 86" outside of tires. Turning is much better then when I used a 68" axle ,2" wheel adapters and the same wheels and tires.
