Default 1" Spacers VS. 1" BL Added to Tera 3"???

I'm considering going from 35's to 37's with my tera 3" lift. This lift seems more like a 4" lift to me, so I only need about another inch to comfortably clear 37's. So, which would be a better way to go......1" spacers or a 1" body lift?

I would go BL. Alot less to worry about and possibly replace or upgrade.

My current setup actually rides pretty well, but I do want to add front adj lower or upper control arms to increase castor regardless if I go to 37's or not. If I go with a body lift and 37's, won't the suspension essentially be the same as before and eliminate the need for a full set of contol arms that one would need with a true tera 4" lift??

What are the reasons so many people on this forum are adding body lifts opposed to 1" spacers??

Because it's easy, cheap, and even a slight adjustment in ride height (i.e. using spacers) on a 3-4" lift can open a can of worms, especially if added to an already existing SL.

I am running the Teraflex 3" lift with an additional 1" spacer up front with 37's. There is some minor rubbing up front and I should probably extend the spacers, but no damage is being done. I don't have adjustable control arms, but I did slot the control arm mounts and then welded washers into place to hold the castor at 5 degrees. When I went to the 37's from 35's I had trouble with death wobble but fixed that with a high-steer draglink and track bar relocation bracket. I would definately do things different if I were to do this whole thing all over, but it is working fine now and saved some cash even when you consider the extra cost of the drag link. Good luck.
