Default 2012 JKU with 2020 Rubi hardrock 33's takeoffs

***UPDATE*** Post-lift and goods update pictures below 10/3/19
************************************************** *****************************

Thought this might be interesting for the forum. Just picked up a 2012 JKU on stock suspension. Had some junk wheels on it at the dealership.

I drove straight from the dealership to a guy on craigslist that had some brand new zero mile takeoffs off a 2020 gladiator hardrock.

This is the same jeep with a two hour span between pictures.

And yes I know I was missing a lug nut. She got new rotors and lugs the next day.

Add a 1.5 inch leveling kit and it will look like this.

I also added 1.5 wheel spacer.

Daamn! Looks sharp. I actually just put a deposit down today on a 2.5" teraflex lift but I have to wait a month for the shop to have availability. I love the silver wheels on green btw.

dramatic upgrade for sure.
I was told that the tires would rub so I added the wheel spacers. Have you noticed any tire rub?

Yeah she rubbed at full lock for sure. I replaced the lugs, lugnuts(solid steel), and added 2" spacers. I didn't notice any difference in handling and the rubber sticks out about an inch past the stock fenders. No more rubbing.

Update: Just got my lift put on.

Closing in on having her about where I want.

This is her dropped off at the Jeep shop just prior to getting the lift done.

Yes that's a TJ Sahara sticker. It's there to confuse and delight.

I'm really happy with the stance. There's no rake, it's just on a bit of a slope in the parking lot.

I'm working on the winch wiring so ignore the zip ties.
