Default JKU soft top leak at B pillar, both sides

I see a lot of hard top documentation and seal kits available, but can these seals also be used to fix the leaks on soft tops at the top corner of the door/top?

Both sides have water dripping in pretty good. Seals look like crap, but wasn't sure which I could use between the two metal pieces. What does that seal and joint look like new? Has anyone had this type of leak and figured out how to stop it?

Here is a link to the old leak diagnosis on my Google drive if it helps -

You need to scroll a good ways down through the document before you get to the soft top specific things.

Thanks, I'd looked that over and most of what they refer to is fixing the hard tops at that location. Was hoping someone with a soft top could confirm how they fixed this issue. I'll give that kit a go and just see what happens.

You have a Sunrider top. I do too. Leaks like a sieve unless installed exactly correct. Make sure the seal that runs at the back of the top is seated correctly. I bought a roll of sealing tape about a 1.25 wide from amazing and added strips to supplement the Sunrider seals. Once we start getting rain I'll see how it does. I found that parking in my driveway nose up, on an incline helps.

Mine is leaking at the top corners of the driver and passenger doors, right at the upper B pillar. The mucket seals seem fine, but I added a 1/4" adhesive gasket to surround the door seals. Seemed to help a little, but still have it on the passenger side. Any other advice is welcome.

I had this problem with my soft top and if you remove the plastic peace of the soft top above the front door and look at the rubber peace on the B piller there is a small channel in it try cleaning it and see if it works but if it's too mangled and not straight just putt the plastic peace back on and put some silicone in the hole on the outside of the rubber peace on the B piller and make sure it's flush and you done with leaks

I'd already tried cleaning the mucket seals and it didn't work. So I just bought two new ones, will install this weekend and cross my fingers.
From my observations, I believe the water is entering in between the door and the mucket seal, not via the top or drain. Not sure the new seals will help, but I have to keep trying. I can't deal with having to dry out my carpet and mats every time it rains. That's not acceptable.

Well I replaced both B pillar muckets, added weather striping fully around both doors and added some pieces to the online kit they sell to the soft top and under muckets, and it still leaks. Not as bad as before. So now I need to track down where it's coming from. Still pooling on the drivers side, front and back wells. Not showing on the arm rests.

Any update on this leak? I’m dealing with something that sounds similar. Coming in through the B pillar somehow even after replacing the freedom panel seals. Getting ready to replace the muckets but feel like it might be a waste of time. Really don’t want to take it to the dealership! Thanks!

Did you consult the link in post #2? Keep in mind that is similar to what the dealer is gonna use as trial and error.
