leaking seal front drivers axleshaft.
Okay, so some ya'll know, my drivers axleshaft was replaced, as the ujoint assembly was also.
Both sides of the axle shafts were taken out and both put back together to see what was broken and so on and so on.
Well I got it back friday after TWO weeks in the shop and lots of money later. Well the next morning, saturday. Its leaking diff fluid AGAIN and there is metal shavings in the fluid.
Is there a way we can fix this at home, or do we have to take it back to the shop to get it fixed again? Its not making any sounds and its driving fine. My ESP light came back on the way home and taking it out yesterday.
It just pisses me off. The only thing a friend though of, whos a mechanic himself, thought it would have been the seal that goes to the differntial housing
so ... take it back to the shop for a nother who knows how long? They'll fix it for FREE , cause its warrantied, or fix at home, so I have it to drive and know whats being done to it, and we don't spend another well a load of bs and more ...
I am soo frickin irritated.
