Currie front track bar flex
Had the Jeep at my buddies shop for something unrelated and he mentioned the front currie track bar flexes quite a bit. Front end is a prorock60 with currie tb,tierod, and draglink all sitting on 40" MTZ with PSC hydro assist. All joints are a few months old and i dont have any steering issues. I had to remove the psc ram a few months ago because the end broke. I tried driving it without the psc ram and first dip in the road at around 60kmh caused severe death wobble so couldnt drive it until the ram end was replaced. All that being said does anyone think this death wobble could be caused by the track bar flexing? (keep in mind all front end components were all good, rod ends, ball joints, etc.) Does anyone foresee any issues with a flexing front trackbar? Ive been driving it with this setup for years with no steering issues otherwise.
Thanks

You have a pretty heavy front end there, and realize that TB is under a lot of pressure. I would say the DW is not related to the flexing by itself, but that you definitely have an issue going on that the hydro is merely covering up. That TB would have to be flexing back and forth like some wet spaghetti noodle I'd think to cause that by itself. Course, if there was even one other little gremilin lurking I could see that coming in to play. Possible for you to video the flexing and upload it to youtube?
