Need to reapray my bumpers and other accessories as there getting rusty. Was thinking of doing something other then black, but can't think of a color that would go good the the 2010 burgandy. Post up some pics of you've done something different with your burgandy jeep!

For that color, a real headscratcher. I think black is probably just the best. I've seen a burgundy like that with a billet silver top on it and thought it was one of the ugliest thing. Obviously the top is a lot more color than a simple bumper, but still....the combo looked silly.

Gunmetal gray would be my knee-jerk reaction on this because it's easy to find and easy to replicate down the road. Many manufacturers go with silver accents, so why not go a little darker? My logical side then kicks in and would suggest doing a factory color like Mineral Gray. It's classic, tried and true, and it'll be subdued enough to where you're not driving a clown car down the road.

Are you just using rattle can spray paint to do this? My jeep is billet silver, and most of my things are powder coated anthracite. I use a lot of Rustoleum Universal metallic spray in flat "soft iron" and it's a darker grey, very close to my anthracite powder coat, that has some nice flecks in it. It would be different than black, but still on that darker side as to not look like a huge contrast. I like the flat finish vs. glossy stuff.

In fact, here is a pic of my old bumper in that paint for reference -

My old truck was techno metallic grey and I loved the color. Will definitely get my sister to use her Photoshop skills to see how it looks!

Im going to go a way other way on this and go desert sand color for your accesories. I think burgandy and tan are a classy looking combination.
