Default Looking for a lift

I am looking for a lift for my 2011 JKU. I am on a limited budget and only looking for a 2.5-3.5 inch lift. I do want the upper and lower control arms. I have been looking at the Steinjager lift. Partially because they have a color that matches my Jeep's colors. Has anyone used these lifts? I have some of their grab handles and they are heavy and seem like soiled construction. If you have used them how do they like them? Will it last or will I be replacing it in two years? I don't need it to ride like a Cadillac, so a stiff ride doesn't bother me. It's a Jeep after all. My price bracket really puts me at this or Rough Country. I appreciate any assistance you can offer.

Don't know anything about Steinjager, but their 2.5" kit with the upper/lower arms seems to be missing some components you might want. Was there a reason you talked yourself into a full set of arms? (at 2.5", a single set up front, or ca brackets, would be enough to correct the caster). Since you indicate that you are on a tight budget, the other sets of arms are just money that could be spent on shocks, rear raised trackbar bracket, bumpstops, whatever else.

If you are open to alternate mfg's, take a look at the MetalCloak 2.5" kits. (unless you are buying a lift specifically for color coordination purposes...) And if you have not browsed the two threads stuck to the top of this Modified area, they may be worth a few minutes of your time.

At this time no real reason for both control arms. It is just I am the 4th owner of the Jeep and felt if I am already down there replacing parts why not do both at the same time. I am a new Jeep owner. Is this something I shouldn't worry about? I have noticed that just recently when at highway speeds she gets a little bit of a wobble in the steering wheel. Is this the death wobble I hear about? If so wouldn't the upper and lower control arms fix this? Or should I be looking for other components in the lift to remedy it. I don't want my little girl riding in an unsafe ride. I appreciate any all advice.

No lift currently, all stock components, correct?

Deathwobble is a major shaking that will have you nearly stopped to make it go away. Not a gentle or light shimmy or vibration that may come and go at a certain speed or whatever. (youtube it, there are plenty of vids of JK's experiencing this). If it is DW, go down to JK Member Writeups, then JK Writeups. Stuck to the top is a good Diagnosis thread. If it's just a light shimmy, could be tire balance (generally my first guess), or maybe unit bearings, could even be worn out bushings somewhere, like the trackbar or control arms maybe. Can be hard to diagnose, give as much info as you can on what you are actually feeling and when it does/does not happen.

Most people seem to want a full set of arms for repositioning the axles forward/backward to increase wheelbase that was lost due to a taller lift. Upper and lower do the same basic thing, rotate either the top or the bottom of the housing which then raises the pinion. It's a preference, but I like front lowers first for the caster, and rear uppers if you do that end. From there, see what you think, you can always add the last two sets later. And as mentioned, nothing at all wrong with a set of brackets up front instead of arms.
