Determining Bump Stop Landing Pad Length
Team, I added a 1 inch spring spacer up front to my 2.5 AEV lift for a total of 3.5in. The bump stop landing pad, should I add a length of 1 inch to it?
You'll get generic answers but the best way to do it is to measure it out. Take your compressed shock length and see if you allocate that amount of space where you bumpstop goes, what hits first. If it's bumpstop then you're fine. If it would be shock (give yourself a good 1/4" buffer) then yes to the addition. My gut is saying no need for additional bump though.

If you've got 16.5" between the pad and the fully compressed foam piece (most will measure to the cup) then your shocks are protected from over compression. Are we safe to assume you don't have a drag link flip where you'd require more bumpstop you to protect the fresdrag link?
