Default Coranavirus diy Bump stops

Now that I have time to work on a few projects I decide to make some bump stops modeled after the front Metalcloak and rear tear flex kits. I will always build before buy if I can. Fronts are hockey pucks as to me the Metalcloak ones look exactly like pucks. Don’t use cheap Chinese ones. I believe these were from dicks sporting goods. Chucked them up in a drill and sanded down the edges so they no longer look like pucks. I do need to replace the bolt however it’s all I had kicking around the shop. Rears were modeled after teraflex ones cut out of 1” aluminum. If anyone wants any of the specs feel free to message me, however it’s a pretty simple straight forward project.

Nicely done!

I made me a couple the other day. I only need a touch extra in the front so I used a drill and hole saw and cut some out of some left over scrap 1/2in thick Teflon we had lying around a work. Still need to counter sink the holes and install them, but so far easy-peasy, just really slippery! Lol! I've heard cheep white plastic cutting boards work good too, but this stuff was free:

Nicely done as well. I only needed two inches up front and one inch in the back. I just couldn’t see paying Metalcloak 90 bucks for hockey pucks. I had the pucks so the hardware was like three dollars.

if you take a wood spade bit you can counter sink the hole so the bolt head sits flush.
