Default 2016 rubi Transfer case swap into a 2015 sport

So i just swapped out cases on my auto 2015 jku. I put in a 2016 rock trac case from an auto. Now im having issues when in 4 low. I know i need to get it programmed for the 4:1 low range but superchips tells me that the trail dash 2 that i have cant program it and that i need either a flash cal or flashpaq. But unfortunately you cant run them.in series or piggy bank of each other. My dealership was no help, they said that the wintech software doesnt give them the option of changing the gear ration on the jeeps computer. So now im having ro.wait for.chrysler to respond to an open ticket they have on my jeep. Those that have swapped out cases for a rubi case, how did you program your jeep to accept the 4:1 low range? And what are the steps the dealership needs to take to reprogram my jeeps computer?

You can do it with an aev procal. Most likely with a jscan too.

Yes, the Jscan does it as does the Superchips flashpaq. For what it's worth, the AEV and Superchips are stackable (though I don't recall the order) and it's a very expensive solution.

Is the programming required because this swap was in an auto trans vehicle? I’m thinking of doing the same in my manual 2009 sport.

I did this swap on my manual, but still used my Procal since I had one from recalibrating the speedo.

My buddy did this in his manual as well, without doing anything. 3 years since that install and we've gone on road trips and wheeled the hell out of the rigs. No issues.

So, I guess no...but technically yes.

It's no different than regearing an automatic.....you are going to have to program that or else the jeep's computer is gonna go bonkers and not know what's going on. Apparently you have, like the only tuner that can't do that which sux.
