Default Rear UCA sitting on tire

Hello everyone,

First time ever on here and after trying to find what I'm looking for I’m not sure if maybe I’m the first to have the issue? I recently installed a 2.5” max travel Rock Krawler kit and the rear upper control arms are rubbing against my back tires. These upper arms are straight unlike the factory where they are bent to allow more clearance for the tire. Did i install these wrong or do i need after market rims or something to accommodate the straight UCA?

Aside from the comments on the RK kit, you probably need offset wheels to keep the tires away from those arms.

Thats what I'm really hoping, but it just says recommend not a must? I currently have the stock rims on my jeep now but have new rims and tires coming in these weeks hopefully. I’m just hoping to confirm that it’s correct and I’m not doing something wrong for the UCA’s.

I would think aftermarket wheels with a little off set would fix it. Do you still have the factory tires on the factory wheels now? Or are they a bigger size then factory? If they are bigger they could be wider.

I don't know then. I would think the stock tires and wheels would clear. I.would just wait until the new wheels and tires come in before I would start changing anything. Keep is updated.
That is a very nice lift kit you got. I am positive they would answer any questions you have. You might wait until Tuesday and give them a call.
