Default HD 19/60 Springs + TF 2/1" Leveling Spacer Kit

So I'm picking up my 2014 Willys JK tomorrow, super excited. Been planning mods on a budget, been searching/reading until my eyes get blurry but trying to to get a definite answer on this one thing.

It's a 2 Door with a rather heavy full size bumper/winch in front. I will do rear bumper eventually. Also has a Gobi roof rack (mention for added weight). I plan to do flat flares and run 35's. Light trails and daily driving is the most it'll see I'm sure.

My question... I plan to do the 19/60 spring mod along with the TF leveling spacer kit (2" front / 1" rear). Was hoping to use the red rubicon shocks I got off a low mile JKUR.

Will I need shock extensions? Also, what else will I need (extended sway bar links come with leveling kit).

Thanks!

So with the weight already added, you are thinking maybe 2.5" total lift from the new coils + spacers? Look at a few 'complete' 2.5" lifts and figure out what all of the various components do. Even though you don't have to have them, with a little reading you could certainly decide that you want some, especially after driving and feeling the new handling.

-Caster will be low, causing flightier steering. If you don't like the way it handles, look at a set of front arms or brackets.
-Both axles will be offset to one side. If it bugs you, get a raised bracket for the rear and an adj trackbar for the front.
-Stock length shocks will be extended at ride height. So, minimal downtravel offroad, but the tires will stuff way up into the flares. Meaning, taller bumnpstops to limit the uptravel, and likely less overall travel than you had before the lift. Shock extensions are probably a good call.
-Brake lines will be stretched a bit, cycle the suspension and check them. If you think they are too tight, you may be able to disconnect from the frame, or just add cheap relo brackets.
-Swaybar links will be angled down, adding the longer ones from the kit should get the bars back to being close to level. Definitely use them.

So yeah, nothing other than coils or spacers is mandatory for a lift, but other components sure can be nice to have...

Got it, thank you for the info!

Seems that combo does put me over the mark to where it would really benefit from the whole host of supporting mods.

What is if was just the 19/60 springs along with a 1" spacer up front (an d maybe a .5" in back)? Would that change much?
