Default Replacing front brake hose - 2011 JK

I need to replace the front brake hose in my 2011 wrangler. I took the hose out and the metal piece was next to impossible to remove from the frame. I pryed it out and when i go to insert the new brake hose with the metal bracket it is struggling to go. I do have Skyjacker shocks on which seem to be in the way. Has anyone found a workaround for
this?

The shocks shouldn't be in the way, the brake brackets usually sit outside of the shock mounting area. I've gotten them started then gently tapped with a hammer to finish them off.

Unfortunately on the 2011 the bracket fits into something in front of the shock and has to slide back into it and the piece does not move in a forgiving manner

picture is worth 1000 words in this case. we all have the same brake brackets unless some previous owner did a custom job. snap a picture and post if possible.

Will do. I’ll post it in the morning when we start working on it again
