Default 35 on stock tire carrier/bumper?

Will I be able to mount my 35x12.5x17 on 17x9 pro comp wheel on my stock tire carrier/bumper? I have a Shrockworks coming sometime in the future (hopefully), just wanted if this will work for now? Do I need spacers? Will I have to leave off until I receive the new bumper? Thanks.

Thats what i am doing as of now. have my 35 on the back stock tire carrier. I had to get a spacer so it would fit but it works fine for now. It does seem to put ALOT of stress on the tailgate so as soon as smitty bilt comes out with their new xrc rear bumper i will be getting it. but my jeep has been like this for almost a year and i have had no problems except a little unnecessary noise.

Shouldn't be a problem. I have a 35x12.5x17 on a 17x8 mounted up to the stock carrier/bumper.

I have a 35 on my stock carrier using a spacer. It works, but it really puts a lot of strain on the hinges. The bottom of the door seal squeaks when going over bumps due to the weight of the tire bouncing back there. I have to lubricate the door seal about once a week to prevent from going crazy. The stock carrier with a spacer is a temporary solution at best IMHO.

Just until I can afford to pay $1K+ for a bumper /tire carrier.

That's what I thought. Just don't like the idea of tearing up the rear gate. But I really don't want to keep my original wheel on the gate. I guess the option is to leave it off until the new bumper arrives.......
