Default Clunking Noise From Drive Line

I'm experiencing a clunking noise pretty much anytime I let off the throttle and then accelerate and this happens pretty much at any speed. Also I have this clunking sounds when depressing the clutch to shift gears but mostly 1-3 gear. 1st gear pulling into a parking spot/parking lot you half to really maintain an rpm and use the clutch to limit clunking and jerking, first gear is just so low and full of torque now with the 4.56 gear.

Jeep Specs
2015 JKU manual trans with 94,000 miles, 2.5 AEV Lift with 17x9 wheels on 35x12.50, OEM rear drive shaft, fresh trans and transfer case fluids, fresh 85w140 diff fluids.
Mods/All mods have less than 6,000 miles on them
4.56 gears/checked wear pattern
Front and Rear Grizzly lockers
1ton steering kit
Tom Woods front driveshaft
New adjustable control arms front/top & bottom
New front u-joints
New HD track bar
New HD ball joints

I'm suspecting worn transfer case drive chain or maybe other trans components. I bought the Jeep used with 84,000 miles, it was stock minus lift and 35 in tires. I'm also suspecting the transfer case and trans has alot of wear due to the previous owner putting many miles on the Jeep with 3.21 gears and 35 in tires or am I way off? This all started after I had the Jeep re-geared and lockers installed but I suspect the issue was there just the re-gear made it more obvious.

Not my video but the same exact sound mine is making.

Sounds like it's time to check torque on all control arm bolts and then pull driveshafts and see if the noise goes away when you pull each one. You can drive around in 4hi without the rear ds without issue. I've done it for weeks on end waiting on parts without issue. I'm also on 2.5" and 35's. No explosions while testing and it's the best way to verify shafts.

Checked control arm bolts and jam nuts. I'm looking at removing the front drive shaft already to service it so I'll drive without it. My concern is removing driveshafts removes the link to the transfer case and trans, that may only mask the noise? I need to think though the process for sure and see how that can help. The clunking noise is or it sounds to be in-between the engine and the front seats.

Not my video but the same exact sound I'm getting from my Jeep every time I press in the clutch.

Front and Rear Grizzly lockers
Just remember that front auto-locker if you choose to eliminate the rear shaft as a cause. Probably better to pull it while in the dirt somewhere. (What happened to the offroad-jeep emoji...)

Anybody? I can't be the only other person that has experienced this noise before.

I would look at the CV joint on the driveshaft first. Mine had a sloppy sound similar and itwais gearbox bearings. I heard a 100k miles is about it for these gearboxes. I fixed the tranny with a Chev V8 and 8 spd auto. Nice and quiet now but I did change the driveshafts as well to different lengths and U-joint style. Mine was also very noticeable in the bush wheeling with the clunking echoing off the trees etc. Thought it was the TC but not so - was the transmission. Another way to confirm was my son scored my 4:0-1 TC for his Sport and I got his 2.72 unit required for the 8 spd auto and his Sport was silent with a 108K mile TC.

Sorry, not my video just the same exact sound. I have a brand new tom woods driveshaft. I'm going to remove the front shaft and drive it and see how it turns out.

I read this review about the Yukon Grizzly locker. See post #1, sounds exactly like what you are experiencing: https://www.cumminsforum.com/threads...eview.2400042/

Thanks for the link, I do have the clunk when letting off the gas or getting back in it, not like what the Dodge is having. I'm going to remove drive shafts one at a time and play around.
