i have never done ne kind of work like this what exactly is it going to entail doing something like this

It's not hard assuming you have some jackstands and some ratchets.


Take the wheels off.... take the shocks off... stick a spacer in... put new shocks on.... put wheels on.... adjust steering wheel... drink beer.



Obviously over-simplified. There are plenty of write ups on various budget boosts. Give them a read to see what you're in for.
