P2302 Ignition Coil A Secondary Circuit
2007 Rubicon, 3.8L. I had a P0300, multiple cylinder misfire and P2302 Ignition Coil 2nd circuit/A Insufficient ionization a few weeks back with the Jeep running awful. I even had the rotten egg smell at the onset but haven't had it since. I haven't really left the driveway though. The jeep has roughly 100k so my first impression was time to change plugs and wires. I decided to "upgrade" to the screaming demon coil pack with live wires while sticking with the champion plugs (gapped at 0.065" per recommendation from performance distributors).
After the upgrade, the P0300 cleared but the P2302 remains and the idle is still a bit rough. I checked obvious electrical connections for signs of corrosion, checked wires and plugs again and cleaned up the battery connections while I was in there. Any other thoughts? I'm getting all sorts of misleading advice that's inconsistent.

I got a refurbished one from the dealer that came with a 2 year warranty. There is a on wranglerforum that describes how to check them. I found a wire diagram from JKfreaks. Just google p2305 cel on 3.8l jk wranglerforum and you will find it.
