JK Show & TellWhether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.
Recently sold my 2018 Toyota Tacoma and went back into Jeep ownership. No longer made sense to have a loan on my fun vehicle (2019 Volvo XC90 is the daily driver). I bought my Dad's stock 2012 Sport, paid for fixes and bought him a paddleboard - haha. Going to turn it into a beach buggy, not a rock crawler, and started by having the interior rhino lined.
Next up I want marine-grade seats. Thoughts on Aftermarket seats vs reupholstery? I'm leaning towards reupholstery because I like the ease of snapping the bench seat out, and want things to match.
At least the sand won't be so noticeable against the floors there, good idea! As far as water resistant seats- some early models 07-10 had vinyl seats. Maybe that's an avenue you could pursue? I imagine you could get someone to do a straight swap for your seats.
I like the liner color. I have mine lined also for weather and I put some thought into the seats. I ended up going with Trek Armor (now Bartact) seat covers. They are waterproof and super tough and they have good coverage. I put them on in 2012 or 13 and they look EXACTLY the same today. I do full summers with no roof or doors and there's no noticeable fading or staining. The driver seat bottom cover eventually got worn on the outside bolster from the way I slide in and out and Bartact made me one to match the original. When I pulled the cover (off the most used seat in the Jeep), the stock seat bottom was in perfect condition. I'm not easy on the interior either so I was very impressed. They do a cover for the folding back seat as well, and all head rests. I don't have any seat cover specific pics, but you can see them well enough.
I can 2nd the Bartact seat covers. They are about as nice as a seat cover gets. The only thing that gets me from time to time is I have mine over leather seats, and the driver's side bottom has a little movement in it as you can tell it's over leather. I would bet that over cloth seats, those stick like a glove and don't move at all.
I dig the 2-toned interior. That was a great choice of color.

I'm looking at bartacts and I have leather as well, any suggestions for tightening up the seat slack?
