Edelbrock supercharger
Hey fellow JK owners!! I recently purchased a 2016 JKU Rubicon and has an Edelbrock Supercharger installed. It has a device mounted on the interior of the Jeep, just left below the steering wheel. Its a small digital device that has different settings and what not. I'm assuming, it allows me to adjust the amount of "boost" the supercharger brings into the engine. If this is not right, please let me know! My question to everyone would be, what are those settings supposed to be? I see "2.5" on the main screen and I can't find any type of rubric showing me what I can adjust, or how I can and what it will do. Does anyone have any information about this by any chance? Its small rectangle shaped with a "mode" button and couple buttons to adjust up/down.
Any information will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
Chris

The Edelbrock is a Roots-Hybrid (Positive Displacement) supercharger so it provides pretty much the same peak boost regardless when it's bypass valve is open. Turbos and possibly centrifugal superchargers allow some boost limits because they build boost in a non-linear (quadratic) way.
I think its for adjusting the throttle sensitivity. Does it have a display? As you push the mode button the display should change if it does. Usually these things are wired in between the throttle pedal and the PCM (engine computer) and modify the voltage that the PCM sees so moderates or increases the degree the throttle body opens. They also adjust the voltage curve. I have on on my supercharged JK. It takes the edge of the throttle response off road nicely
