Automatic to manual swap 2008 JKUR info please.
Hey all, I’m new to this forum, somewhat new to jeeps.
i got a 2008 JK Rubicon for free, but its auto,
i want to manual swap it.
for the most part im confused with what I need to do for the computer issues, what do i need to do for programming it, can i just get a used pcm and harness from a manual and plug and play,
Trans , 500$
clutch/flywheel 450$ stage 3
master/slave “don’t have yet”
clutch pedal assembly “don’t have yet”
trans mount, “ came with trans”
new flywheel bolts “don’t have yet”
harness
PCM
most of my questions have to do with the harness and PCM,
its worth it for me to do this because i got the jeep for FREE and its in good condition, its not worth selling, i want to build it, i can do all the work myself as im a tech but ive never swapped and auto to manual before so it would be a first for me ( i prefer manual ) if someone has done this please let me know id appreciate it a lot . If im missing any thing please let me know. Thanks in advance !
located in southern Ontario, canada there is not much help around here or people who do this kind of stuff.

Add: Console adapter plate, Throwout bearing, clutch fork, pilot bearing, clutch pedal assembly needs new longer shaft and 2 holding clips, foam gear lever seal, rubber boot, console finishing cap and bellow type boot, did you get the gear lever?
Computer - you will need to go into the program and tell it it is an NSG 370 manual. Perhaps that will take care of everything else or you may have turn codes off related to CEL for auto transmission errors. Also the wiring for clutch interlock needs to be done whichj is most likely the P/N interlock now. Reverse lights go on the transmission from below whereas they are detected off the auto gear selector I believe.
You got a 6 speed for $500? If so and mileage on it is over 100k I would dismantle and check replace at least the bearings - all of them - and seals/check gear selectors. Run Amsoil synchromesh oil not the Mopar crap. Don't want to pull the gearbox for jumping out of gear etc.
