Default 2008 JKU won’t start... not even a click (good battery and starter)

Hey everyone! I’ve been a reader for years and have finally found the probably that has driven me to write a post. Just yesterday I was left stranded with no start. Here are the symptoms

turn the key, ACC works, radio, dash, all lights come on like normal. When I turn the key to start nothing happens, not even a click.

After reading some posts I now have replaced the ignition switch, starter, starter relay. I had the battery tested and she’s full with 12.6 volts.

I began to think it was the clutch switch (6 speed manual trans) so bypassed the clutch switch and connected the yellow wire with red line to ground... nothing. Even tried starting in 4 low... nothing.

any ideas are much appreciated thank you!!!

I'd still try another battery just to be sure. My cousin's 2018 went wacky and wouldn't start. We tested the battery and it tested fine. A shop went over everything, thinking the PCM might be bad but it was fine. So they put a new battery in an act of desperation and everything went back to normal and it fired right up.

My 08 did wind up having a bad PCM after a similar episode, so maybe that could be the culprit if the battery truly is good.

Have someone turn the key to "START" while you see if you can hear or feel the starter motor relay actuate.

I read the thread you linked to. I'm glad you found out another key worked. However, your issue can't be related to the battery in the key fob, as the transponder in the key requires no battery. (My spare key has no battery, and it works fine.)
For some reason, the WCM quit recognizing your key's transponder.
