I took a plastic 3 foot square plastic downspout connector piece out of a box store, Cut it length wise to make two elbow shaped pieces. Added some gorilla glue and topped it by cutting a strip of an exercise mat sold by the individual piece at the same store. It might have totaled less than 10 bucks. Just slip between the window and the rubber gasket and it rests there, letting your window go up and down with no bother, and no scratches. Saves the top of my door panel, and when the windows are down all the way, I reverse it to hang outside so his paw nails dont overhang and scratch paint on the top of the door. I think they are quite handy, and with his head out of the window, that ledge gives him a stable position. I hope you like it!
