Jeep jk transmission noise HELP
I've been having transmission noises almost metallic sounding, I replaced my clutch, throw out bearing, Clutch fork and pilot bearing The noise only happens when the clutch is not pressed, when the clutch is pressed in it goes away, sounds like a throwout bearing but replaced and noise still exist, I'm at a loss and don't know what to do
Suspecting it's the transmission, and if the noise is in all gears and neutral while not moving, maybe the input shaft bearing. But it could be a loose release bearing fit on the sleeve over the trans input shaft. Centerforce has a good video demonstrating that noise, the problem, and the solution. How long has it been making the noise, and how long have you owned it? Make a video recording of the sound under various conditions and post it here.

I have been told by dealer and another 4x4 mechanic some noise with no foot on clutch and idle is super normal. I have it too. Have had it forever. If I put just a tiny bit of pressure on the pedal, sound goes away instantly. Forget the reason I was told. But made a lot of sense at the time and was confirmed by second mechanic. Has never been a problem after probably 10 years of the sound. And, to be careful here, my noise is very slight and very consistent. I can hear it from inside with doors closed, but it's a low sound.

I'm having a hard time distinguishing which noises are from what, but take a look at this vid about how the release bearing can rattle.
If the noise goes away with slight pressure on the clutch it's probably the release bearing. If it takes enough pedal to stop the input shaft rotation to quiet down it's probably the transmission.
And like 2011jkupos said, a little noise isn't terrible or abnormal.
