Throttle Response/Control light
Hello folks,
I have a '14 JK with the 3.6 and a Boosted Technologies blower. Ive been dealing with the )Z( light and limp mode issue for quite some time now. I have replaced the accelerator pedal and throttle body and nothing helps yet. Sometimes it runs well and has plenty of oomph and sometimes not.
What I am seeing right now is this: at times there seems to be like a switch that gets thrown relating to gas pedal response. I can be cruising along at a steady pedal position and suddenly like a switch thrown i will start slowing down and have to press the pedal mot to keep up speed and it will seem like the first portion of pedal depression does nothing. Then like a switch again, the throttle starts acting normally. During the off times, when I slow down, the )Z( light will come on and I have to shut of and restart the engine to clear this light.
Does anyone have any suggestions on whet I should be looking at? As I said, gas pedal and throttle body are new, and connectors on tight.
Thanks in advance.
Mark
