Default Ring gear toot pattern?

Hello! I recently started to take my Dana 44 from 3.73 to 4.88. I'm a heavy equipment mechanic but man these Jeep gears are a different breed. Would anyone be able to translate these tooth patterns? I'm having trouble deciding what adjustments to make. Thank you

Looks decent, deep set. Hows the backlash?

Backlash seems to be within spec. Right around .007. Any adjustments you might recommend? I've determined gear tooth patterns aren't my thing lol

I would run it if you have good backlash and bearing preload.

Really? That seems so unbelievable to me. That was my first pattern after putting in the carrier and pinion. Seems crazy to button it up the very first time

Sometimes it works on the first try, sometimes you take it out a dozen times. Why no locker with the gear swap?

Just kind of a decision I made and went with it. Though it may change in the future. I recently started a new career and have no time to do anything needing lockers at the moment..sad

Just got back to the shop and made a discovery showing how dumb I am. While working late I accidentally left the rear pinion bearing off in my initial setup. Got it installed, preload done, and backlash looks good. Would you mind checking out these new patterns for me? Looks to be a touch high and too heel side. Thanks!
