Default Why is this hardtop so cheap?

Noob here. I drive a 2014 Jeep JK 2DR w/ a soft-top. The dealer quoted $4k for hardtop + installation. I found the following hardtop for under $1,500! Why is it so much cheaper than anywhere else?

Thanks!

I am betting that has no side or rear glass. $1250-1500 is the price range a hardtop goes for on FB and CL. That is where most people would pick one up.

**not sure what they charge for "install" which is literally 8 bolts. lol. Can't imagine anyone except an insurance company paying $4k for a new hard top.

IN Central Pa there is a Used dealer specializes in JEEPs and he sells 4dr hardtops around that number. If that top is in your driving distance ..take a look at it.. Installation is easy 3 strong guys pick up and set it on the Jeep. Check FB Marketplace too.

I'd be inclined to call that site - Mopar Parts East, with a few questions.

I have no doubt that adding the taxes & shipping is gonna change the math a bit - but I wouldn't be that surprised if you can do better that the dealership.
