2017 Jeep JKU Automatic w/Eaton TruTrac Rear: Getting ESP Light
Just had a TrueTrac installed on the rear of my 2017 Jeep JKU Auto trans. Ever since the install I'll get the random ESP light come on and stay on. Cycling the power turns the ESP light off. I don't notice any issues as far as throttle response or drive-ability, but this shouldn't be happening. I've driven 2 days at a time no issue, then going over a bump or a small slip will have the ESP light stay on.
I've read that you shouldn't run a detroit locker on an auto trans but the LSD's seem to be fine and plenty of people are running them.
Thoughts? Bad speed sensor or is it an actual issue with the auto trans.
Quadratec website says not compatible but Northridge says no issue. WTF!?!?
See Northridge answer a question about auto trans and the trutrac.

I'd put my $5 on a speed sensor. Do you have a scanner that can read ABS codes? If not, Jscan is sure a handy app to have both for programming and diagnostics. If that ESP light is staying on, it's throwing a code in the ABS and tranny module that should point exactly to which sensor. Many people are running those TTs.
You might even just unplug those rear ones and hit them with some contact cleaner. Keep in mind those are unplugged and pulled out when they did the install. There could be a chance wiring connection further up the line is an issue. Regardless, a scanner should point you in the right direction.

I agree that unplugging the sensor and cleaning and ensuring they are connected properly. I think the "key" is you said if going over a bump the light comes on, likely that's jarring the connection.
