What do you need to know please? They are expensive (the good ones) and work good and do not rust and are hard to get paint to stick to unless a good etching is done first.

Stainless does rust but so slow that SS hinges would be a problem on the Jeep for your grand kids. I want to replace my rear door hinges and I just spray Fluid Film in mine and they seem to work fine year in year out. I would still lube SS hinges as well. The better sets seem to be in the $7-800 USD range for a full 4 door set - 1/2 obviously for a 2 door but you get what you pay for. If you strip the factory ones, use a good etching primer then spray body colour again then I am sure you won't want the Jeep anymore when they rust again. Hope this helps

If the corrosion issue is the only thing you're looking to solve, I use the delrin inserts for the hinges. The factory inserts were pretty well krusty, but I haven't had an issue with the delrin ones, been using them for about a year now.

Think im just going to sand everything down and refinish them. Then get some silicone sheets to use as a gasket between door and hinge AND/OR spray some sort of rubberized paint or Flex Seal on. Project for the summer.

Generally, matte black door hinges are recommended, which are stylish and durable.
