2010 wrangler Ls Swap
Hey, new to this forum/ thread. Looking for thoughts or recommendations on what has worked for you all or things I should watch out for based on problems from similar builds.
Ive got a 2010 2 door jk sport, I did a 5.3 Ls swap (LC9 aluminum Block) with a 6L80e trans, rebuilt the motor in the basement and deleted the VVT and DOD/AFm and put stage 2 Texas speed cam in. Got the Basic kit from RPM Extreme and pieced everything else together. Entropy Radiator w/ electric fan, 3.5 inch suspension lift from rusty's off road, I just finished doing the front tie rods and steering bar, replaced steering stablizer with a cheepish rough country shock. I'm running 35's general grabber atx, and I'm finishing up the new 4.88 Yukon gears with the rear Yukon dana 44 locker, hopefully be done this week but still waiting on some parts. Im on a tight budget now, and after I get the jeep dialed in on the dyno its back to being a daily again. Also I'm moving from Ma to SD in about a month. I did the build pretty much solo In a harbor freight car port in the back yard lol so I know the jeep inside and out.
Jeep runs great and has crazy power but I do have to get the fuel trims and spark/timing dialed in as well as an alignment. But yeah, got a long trip coming up and I'm curious as to what has gone wrong or failed on your builds that I might be able to prepare for... At this point all I can really afford is duct tape and zip ties lol

Welcome and nce conversion. I have the LT 2016 in mine and had to rework some of the torque settings as it is in a lighter higher ratio geared vehicle. You of course, do not have to do that but there is a wealth of informationon the HP Tuner Forum in the Chevrolet section and HPT themselves come in and answer questions at times. Strongly suggest you get HP Tuners as it is a real necessity for changing things and resetting the Chev side of things.

That is a great point and I actually have the Hp tuner. I 100% agree I've found tons of help on the hp tuners threads. You mentioned changing things on the jeep side with hp tuner? Where can I find info on that?
RPM Extreme will be the guys as Motech advised me for the Jeep side and they had the Chev ECU to program that. Failing that though I can send you my tune and you can compare in HPT and edit your one.
I’ll hit up RPM too, they got badass customer service. Way better than I expected.
