i have a 2010 wrangler and its tuned catless and has forged internals. i have had it for about a year and i know the previous owner had swamped it a couple times and has always been able to start the motor again. I bought the jeep and destroyed the old motor by hydro-locking it and snapped 2 rods and destroyed the pistons. since then i had a new block put in and forged internals,( planning on supercharging it when the time comes) but for now i cant figure out why it has an extremely rough idle. it will bounce between 700 to 1500! now im no expert but thats a bit extreme. i work as a mechanic and even my head tech cant figure out why its doing this. i dont throw any codes for it ive smoke tested vaccume tested leak down tested compression tested and did a fuel pressure test. everything came back within specs. im seriously considering buying injectors for it cause thats the only thing i havent replaced yet but i dont wanna spend the money on something i dont need. does anyone have a clue what i can do to rule out my injectors
