So, every spring my top and doors come off for the season typically until monsoon season or winter starts. With the top and doors off I notice more sounds and smells. That makes my alerts heightened and I also start to pay attention to everything else like vibrations and weird road feedback. Naturally, every spring I feel like I have to go through my Jeep and check for looseness of parts, fluid levels (even though I do all of these regularly), and look for oil leaks because I wonder to myself if that smell is coming from my Jeep or a truck/car in front of me.
I give my Jeep some love and a thorough look over to reassure myself that nothing is wrong with it.
Anyone else do the same when it’s too and door off weather?
What are your weird quirks that you do specifically because it’s a Jeep?
btw: I should mention I have a natural dis-trust with my Jeep because I know that it’s made by dodge. I also have a love hate with my Jeep because I love what it does but I wish it were made by Toyota.

The only thing I do when I remove my top and doors is to change the setting to make the radio turn off as soon as I turn the Jeep off. Otherwise, people always assume I forgot to turn off the Jeep when I get to work since the radio would continue to play for a few minutes.
