Default JKU CV or shaft replace?

Ive got a 2015 JKU, 3.5" lift, 35"s, loud clicking got me looking at the CV joint and sure enough grease splatter and visible cracked boot. Only hear it in 4H, seems like i dont for some reason in 4L. Question is whether the clicking is potentially more that just the joint, and whether any suggestions to replace the whole shaft (prob go with Adams). Am i doing any damage by still driving 4wd until i can fix?

Thanks in advance

It's the joint. If you do any decent wheeling i'd replace with aftermarket for the simple fact that you also gain clearance with the smaller diameter shaft vs. factory, otherwise there is nothing wrong with the replacement high-angle CV from TF. The one downside is if that u-joint ever fails on the factory shaft it's not meant to be serviceable. Also, you can get an aftermarket shaft that mounts right to the existing pinion flange at the diff if you don't want to replace that with a yoke.

Thanks for the suggestion - I do pretty light offroad - thick sand, not rocky climbs, occasional dirt/mud trails.

I see these Adams driveshafts, Id assume heavy duty 1310 is sufficient, wont need extreme duty.

If any thoughts, welcome the input.
