Does anyone know when the ARB Safari snorkel will come out and how much it will be?

Just got this email from them Monday....

Hi Dennis,

Thank you for your interest in Safari,

We should hopefully have this snorkel released by the end of this month. For availability dates from your local dealer please contact your local ARB. www.arb.com.au

I believe that Northridge4x4 has some ARB snorkels ordered and I am sure he will make an announcement when they are ready to be shipped, but he has to wait like everyone else until they are ready.

That's interesting!!!! I sent an e-mail to their head office here in Australia and this is the reply I got:

Hi John,

Thanks very much for your interest in our products.

JK Safari snorkels are due to us as follows.

Early to Mid May for the Diesel RHD version and Mid June for the Petrol variant.

I trust you already have a back order in somewhere? If not you need to get your name down to be in the first batch releases.

Pricing is yet to be finalised.

If we can assist further in any way, please drop us another line.

Kind regards

I probably wont wait that long for them unless they are suppose to be the most reasonable priced and best functional....

I might go AEV if they come in sooner

What is your guys opinion on the ARB? Better than AEV?

I think the RR looks good but is too expensive in my opinion(probably not for what you get, but for what I can pay *just wanted to point that out lol). Otherwise I would consider them harder.

I went with River Raider. Awesome product and Kenny is really easy to deal with. Here is a pic of mine.
