I optioned for the BFG-KM2's based on how they are on/offroad, they are beasts on the rocks, mud and street. I like the Nitto's MG's as well just because they are noisy like BOGGERS but I went with KM2's. They are both good tires from everything I've read.

Just ordered the KM2s because of the same reasons. I wanted a great onroad tire as well as off road. I think the wear on these tires is better.

The are both great tires, they really are.

The Nitto is a little more Specialty Offroad and really puts all its engineering in offroad performance. It hums on the hwy but still does ride really smooth for how knobbie it is. Thread bocks are deep and wide, putting it in competition with very aggressive offroad tires like Super Swampers.

The KM2 is best described here:

From what you describe of your driving habits. I think you will be happiest with the KM2.

After having all of the above metioned tires, I would recommend the KM2s for what you are looking for.
