Default Adding Vibrant 1141 (or other) Resonator with AFE Scorpion Axle-back on 2 dr. JK 3.8L

I just installed an AFE Scorpion Axleback exhaust on my 3.8L 2011 JK 2-door. I had read where a few people added a Vibrant 1141 Ultra Quiet Resonator with that exhaust, so I ordered one. But after looking under my Jeep, I'm realizing that most of the people posting probably had 4-door's with more room underneath. The resonator isn't here yet, so I made up a cardboard template, because I was pretty doubtful that it's going to fit. Well the cardboard template I made, installed to the side, and slightly rearward of the evap canister, is just barely rubbing the frame towards the back. My template could be a few millimeters off, so I'll see when the actual resonator arrives, but it's looking like it may be too big for a 2-dr. Part of the issue is that the mid pipe has some slight bends in it, so there is really only the one spot it will possibly fit. Has anyone installed the Vibrant 1141 Ultra Quiet Resonator on a 2-dr? And if not, what resonators are known to work on a 2-dr. ? My goal is to reduce the cabin noise (drone) when driving in the 2200 - 2500 rpm on the highway. I'm re-geared, so that's about what I cruise at depending on how fast I'm going. I want one that will fit, but is large enough to make a difference in sound. Other thought are: could a shop modify the mid-pipe to make it fit better? Or could the back corner of the resonator be dented slightly for more clearance?
