Default 2010 jeep jku overflow

I was just curious on if anyone knew how to fix the overflow issue that happens when you fill up gas. I knew mopar made a part but looks like it’s not able to found anymore.

Amazon has the generic part. I just keep my ear close to the filler and manage to beat the spill each time. Mopar walked away from Canadian Jeep owners in this respect if there ever was a recall.

So when filling the tank do you need to slow the flow of fuel otherwise the nozzle will click off? if that is the case , I would think there is some thing wrong in the vent system. It is very touchy, just about anything - pinched hose, cracked nipple on rollover vent or cracked tubing will lead to this situation. The vent line at the fuel filler neck might be plugged with debris. In my experience, if you can't sqweeze the fuel nozzle full open while pumping gas, something is wrong in the vent system or in the rollover valves on the tank.
