Beat on my 08 jk pretty hard this past weekend till it shut off. After pulling battery cables and getting it to crank. I now only have reverse and 2nd gear. Code reader throws up 0882 code. I’ve checked plugs fuses and connections. It only shows 4.7v where the plug goes in trans. Should it be 12v. Any suggestions on things to check would be awesome got a ride Saturday and don’t wanna miss it

I have never had this code. From what I can see you may want to check your wiring carefully and see if there is a broken or shorted wire (maybe from the past weekends events. I also read to check the fuse it may have blown as well.
