Default Purejeep front bumper

I'm interested in getting the front Purejeep bumper without the winch mount. Can anyone answer these questions. Any help is greatly appreciated.
1. I see that the shackles are optional. If I ordered the bumper without the shackles, can it be replaced with the factory front hooks? Does it requires any mods or drilling?
2. I saw it on one of the members's jeep, who is using a Purejeep bumper which had a front metal skid plate underneath the bumper. Does that skid plate comes with or attached to the bumper? If not, Does the Mopar skid plate works with the Purejeep bumper?
3. I've been reading posts regarding "crush cans", I assummed they are those metal pieces where the frame connects with the bumper. Do you have to remove those if using the Purejeep bumpers.

These might be newbie questions, but I came from tricked- out Hondas. After purchasing my Rubicon, I don't think that I'll ever go back to those Hondas again.

Hey k9driver, the PUREJEEP front bumper does not require any drilling and while I'm think you could reuse the factory tow hooks, they would have to go on the outside and that might look kind of funny. Regarding the skid plate to protect the swaybar disco motor, it was on the Full Traction JK and it was just a prototype. One is planned to go into production as an option but it is not available at this time. Last but not least, the crush cans are quite literally can looking objects that are attached to the metal part of your front bumper underneath the plastic housing. They reside behind the front bump pads and yes, they would be removed when installing the PUREJEEP or most any aftermarket front bumper due to the fact that you are removing the factory one. But, this really should be no big deal especially when the air bag system does not rely on these in order to function properly.

So your looking at the clean front with fog lights?

I would recommend the D-Ring mounts. Your going to need a good two point in the front. Even if you dont wheel its a good idea to have one.
